Samuel Adams House Site

Place: Samuel Adams House Site
Address: 24 Winter Street
Neighborhood: Downtown

Walking all over Downtown Boston on December 12, 2012, I took pictures of many important places.
The walk along Winter Street between Tremont Street and Washington Street is one that many Bostonians have traversed through. Located here is the site of the house of Samuel Adams.
To visit the Samuel Adams House Site, ride the Green Line or Red Line to Park Street. Or ride the Orange Line or Red Line to Downtown Crossing. Then walk into Winter Street.

"The patriot and propagandist Samuel Adams (1722-1803) lived in a house on this site from 1784 until his death. A cousin of John Adams, Samuel Adams wrote many of the radical protests against the British rule, advocated separation from England, and masterminded the Boston Tea Party. Adams was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and served as the third governor of Massachusetts from 1794 to 1797. He was born on nearby Purchase Street."
